About me…

Hi, I'm Nikki and I've been a physiotherapist for the past 29 years. After working at a hospice for 5 years and being told by many of my amazing patients to follow my dreams and not to waste a minute of my life, I set up ‘Sweetpea & Bumble’.


Creativity with a conscience..

I like to upcycle and recycle as much as I am able, so the majority of my glassware and ceramics are found in recycle centres and charity shops. This way I feel I'm helping to support local charities, I’m not contributing towards more waste and I can also use great quality items as bases for my artwork, without the cost to my customers. Win, Win, Win! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

More about my work…

I get my inspiration from the beautiful forms and colours of nature 🌸🌺🌻🐝. I love to go out for a walk with the dog and come back with lots of ideas 💡.

I use glass paints and acrylic paints and I like adding a little bit of bling with gold leaf.

I bake any drinking glasses and mugs in order to ‘set’ the paint, which means the majority of them can be put in a dishwasher.
